About ~Alyson French~

Alyson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 13 years experience in Mental Health Services and the founder of her own private practice Fluidity of Life Counseling LLC  in Phoenix-Ahwatukee, Arizona, which was created as a healing space for those who have too often felt unseen, unheard, or unwanted.

 

Alyson is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered therapy. Alyson has the belief that everyone deserves quality mental health care where healing is individualized, strength-based, and outcome-informed. Especially those navigating trauma, identity exploration, and the long journey of understanding self.

 

With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, Alyson has worked extensively with individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, particularly those with dual diagnoses and high-risk needs.

 

Alyson is proudly inclusive and affirming of all races, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, metaphysical/spiritual believers, neurotypes, and bodies. She welcomes clients from all walks of life, and supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Before opening her own practice, she spent over a decade in various clinical and leadership roles across Arizona’s behavioral health system. Alyson has years of experience in clinical oversight and staff development. Serving in roles from Program Coordinator to Acting Director, where she provided supervision, created and audited programming, and led teams of behavioral health professionals across multiple levels of care. Alyson also supported individuals with complex needs in residential and outpatient settings.

 

Alyson's clinical work is backed by a Master's in Mental Health Counseling with a forensic concentration and a passion for restoring dignity to those who’ve been dismissed or misunderstood by traditional systems.

Alyson comes from a lineage of strong women and resilient families. She understands what it means to carry generational trauma and what it takes to break cycles while still honoring where we come from.

 

Alyson's personal and professional experiences fuel her commitment to provide a space where clients can feel truly safe, seen, and supported as they do the hard, beautiful work of healing.
